{"id":592,"date":"2016-04-26T17:26:08","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T17:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.peterbroderick.net\/?p=592"},"modified":"2016-04-26T17:26:08","modified_gmt":"2016-04-26T17:26:08","slug":"boom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.peterbroderick.net\/?p=592","title":{"rendered":"boom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The inimitable Carry brothers of <a href=\"https:\/\/fracturedair.com\/\">Fractured Air<\/a> recently asked me to contribute an unreleased track to include on their monthly mixtape for <a href=\"http:\/\/en.blogotheque.net\/2016\/04\/26\/fractured-air-x-blogotheque-s01e04-april-mix\/\">La Blogoth\u00c3\u00a8que<\/a>. I offered up a little number I call <em>Boom<\/em>, which I recorded a few months ago at The Sparkle, while fiddling around with playing the drums along to some casio loops that were running through a variety of effects pedals. I blasted those loops out through a guitar amplifier, set up a couple microphones, and started into some drumming hypnosis.
