as mentioned in the post before last, october will see the release of my album full of vocal experiments . . . these walls of mine<\/strong> . . . which can now be preordered here<\/a>. most of the songs on this record were debuted on my flickr page a couple years ago and were created while in the process of making my http<\/a> album. two songs, however, are more recent numbers, written at home in summer 2011. at one point i started walking around my apartment singing in a rather r&b style just for fun, and then i had the idea to try and make an entire song in this manner. that’s how i’ve tried<\/em> came to be.<\/p>\n

in the video below you can see me performing the song with my good friend martyn heyne, at his lichte studio<\/a>, where we finalized the mixes of the album, running all my tracks through his old tape machines and echo boxes . . . fun!!!<\/p>\n
