I’m over the moon to share with you all, on this Winter Solstice day, a music video for ‘White Jet Smoke Trail II’, taken from the latest Arthur Russell tribute project, ‘Give It to the Sky<\/a>‘, a collaboration between myself and Ensemble 0<\/a> (more info in previous post). Having been enamored by the handmade videos of Broken Down Golf Cart<\/a> for some time, I was thrilled when she agreed to take on this project and help bring to life this idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s been a great year for collaborative projects. April saw the release of ‘BURREN<\/a>‘, my collaborative album with East Forest. In May was released the album ‘Deep Drive 2 +<\/a>‘ by Peter Zummo, on which I had the great pleasure of playing drums, violin and synthesizer. In early June my mother Selah Broderick released her album ‘Moon in the Monastery<\/a>‘, which we worked on together remotely for several years. And then finally in October myself and Ensemble 0 released ‘Give It to the Sky: Arthur Russell’s Tower of Meaning Expanded<\/a>‘. I’m very grateful to have been a part of all these projects.
